Mark Chapman presents highlights of the day's two Premier League matches.
In the first match of 2017, Spurs face the short trip to Vicarage Road to face Watford. Tottenham have never lost to Watford in the Premier League and were 2-1 victors in the corresponding fixture last season - a game which also took place over the festive period.
In the later kick-off, Arsenal take on Crystal Palace at the Emirates. Dauntingly, the Eagles have only won two of 32 all-time league meetings home and away against the Gunners.
