City Of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra
Mirga Gra啪inyte-Tyla, conductor

The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra with their music director Mirga Gra啪inyte-Tyla. While Mozart's overture combines infectious energy with Masonic symbolism, Tchaikovsky's dramatic Fourth Symphony explores the shadow cast by Fate. Hans Abrahamsen's Grawemeyer Award-winning song-cycle for Barbara Hannigan centres on Shakespeare's Ophelia, using only words allotted to her in Hamlet.
