Andrew McGregor presents part two of Radio 3's annual day of Christmas music. With a live concert from Tallinn, a recording from Utrecht and a live concert from the Czech Republic.
Andrew McGregor continues Radio 3's annual Christmas Around Europe. Part two begins live in Tallinn for a concert featuring works by contemporary Estonian composers Toivo Tulev and T玫nu K玫rvits. Then to Utrecht for a concert of Bach cantatas performed by the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra and Chorus, directed by Ton Koopman. The final concert in this section comes live from Pardubice Castle in the Czech Republic, where the 'Baroque Forever Young' ensemble of top young professional musicians perform Italian Baroque concertos.
