The success of the Ukraine Paralympic team
At this year’s Paralympic Games in Rio, many were surprised to see Ukraine in 3rd place on the medal table, especially given the fighting which has long been going on in the east of the country and the nation’s precarious economic state.  Anne Lundon examines how they achieved this success and speaks to people in Ukraine with disabilities, both those involved in sport and those not, in order to look at the support they are given.Â
