On Remembrance Sunday Lynn will be talking to Welsh writer and historian Phil Carradice about his new book The Call Up .
It tells the story of the young men conscripted to do National Service in the years following the end of the Second World War .
Many found themselves caught up in fierce fighting in Korea, the jungles of Malaya and in Kenya despite having only the most basic training, while others had an easier time with postings in less dangerous parts of the world .
