The government's Childhood Obesity Plan has been criticised for being too weak, at a conference today You & Yours speaks to MPs and doctors about what needs to be done.
Today, experts gathering at a summit to discuss childhood obesity say the government's new strategy doesn't go far enough. The plan calls for manufacturers to voluntarily cut sugar in food by 20%, but doesn't ask for stricter methods like restricting advertising and banning promotions on sugary foods. We report from the conference and speak to a child who managed to lose weight.
