Plastic Mermaids

Marc Riley has a live session from Plastic Mermaids, a five-piece from the Isle of Wight.

Plastic Mermaids make the effort tonight - all the way from the Isle of White indeed. They crossed water to get here. Marc's been playing current single Alaska and loves it. It's taken from the forthcoming EP Everything Is Yellow And Yellow Is My Least Favourite Colour.

The five piece place emphasis on eye catching stage productions involving handmade sets and laser displays - that's multi-media in our eyes.

Band members are Douglas Richards (vocals, piano), Jamie Richards (guitar, drum machine, samples, vocals), Chris Newnham (guitar), Tom Farren (bass) and Chris Jones (drums).
