Call You and Yours: What is your train journey like?
Rail passengers are coping with strikes, delays, overcrowding and rising ticket prices. Listeners tell the programme what their train journey is like.
On today's Call You and Yours we're asking: What is your train journey like?
This year rail passengers have coped with delays, cancellations, strikes, overcrowding and rising ticket prices. Tell us what your experience is of using the UK's rail network.
Today a 3-day strike is planned by Southern Rail members of the RMT Union, but Southern Rail passengers have already seen regular disruption for the last few months. In Scotland there have been problems across the network, with the Scottish government saying ScotRail passengers are "paying more for a shocking service". Overall rail punctuality has fallen to its lowest in a decade, with Govia Thameslink, TransPennine Express and Virgin Trains East Coast being some of the worst performing firms.
But, we want to know what is your day to day train journey like?
Do you experience regular delays? Are the carriages crowded? Can you easily claim refunds? Or does your service serve you well?
