2016 Final: Inveraray v Kinlochshiel
Jonathan Sutherland presents live coverage of Inveraray v Kinlochshiel in the MacAulay Cup final. Commentary is from Hugh Dan MacLennan and Fraser Inglis.
The 2016 final pits Inveraray, with a long history of success in the MacAulay Cup, against Kinlochshiel, who have never reached this stage of a major senior tournament before. 'Shiel', from Balmacara near Kyle of Lochalsh, beat the Camanachd Cup holders Lovat 3-0 in their semi-final. Scotland international John MacRae was among the scorers, bringing his tally to five in the competition this season.
Inveraray played in five consecutive finals in the last decade, but were comfortably beaten 3-1 by Newtonmore in last year's decider at Mossfield before being relegated from the Premier Division. They caused a major upset by overcoming Kyles Athletic 3-2 in the semi-final, with captain Allan MacDonald scoring a hat-trick prior to being sent off. Commentary comes from Hugh Dan MacLennan and Fraser Inglis.
