This afternoon sees the men's marathon contested on the streets of Rio. Kenyan Eliud Kipchoge will begin as one of the favourites following a stunning run of recent form. He won the 2016 London Marathon in a course-record time and was also victorious in London and Berlin last year.
The marathon is followed by mountain biking, with medals up for grabs in the men's cross-country.
