Marc Riley has a live session from King Creosote, ahead of the the release of his new album, Astronaut Meets Appleman.

Marc welcomes back King Creosote, live in session.

Kenny Anderson aka King Creosote is back with a new album Astronaut Meets Appleman, which is out in September.

In the past KC has worked with the Earlies and was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 2011 for Diamond Mine, his collaboration with Jon Hopkins.
His most recent record was the soundtrack to the film From Scotland With Love. This time we're told to expect harps, bagpipes and his baby daughter Louie Wren. Probably not for the session though. It'll be past her bed time.
