Further coverage from Rio as the Brownlee brothers Alistair and Jonny go for gold in the men's triathlon. Alistair is the defending champion and his prospects were improved heading into the Olympics by the withdrawal of five-time world champion Javier Gomez because of injury. Nonetheless, Spain still boast a wealth of talent led by Mario Mola, who has won six of his last seven races.
In Guanabara Bay, it's the climax of the men's 49er sailing class. Britain's Dylan Fletcher and Alain Sign won a bronze medal at the World Championships earlier in the season, although the overwhelming favourites are New Zealand's Peter Burling and Blair Tuke, unbeaten since taking silver at the 2012 Olympics.
