Janice is at the Edinburgh Festivals with Jason Byrne, Andrew Hunter Murray and Matt Forde

Janice Forsyth presents from the Edinburgh Festivals with comedians Jason Byrne, Matt Forde and Andrew Hunter Murray, plus music from Paris-based songwriter Mariama.

Janice is in the 麻豆社's Big Blue Tent at the Edinburgh Festivals, with comedians Jason Byrne and Gr谩inne Maguire.

Musician Kirsty Newton explains why this Fringe she's stepping into the spotlight after years of being an accompanist, and why she is inviting everyone to her birthday party - every day of the festival. She'll also do a spot of glockenspiel karaoke.

Ian Johnston (Scotland's leading learning-disabled artist) and Gary Gardiner strut onto the stage to tell Janice about their show Dancer, co-created with the late Adrian Howells, and exploring the power of dance to make people feel alive.
Theatre-makers Kieran Hurley and Matt Regan perform extracts from their respective shows Heads Up, and Greater Belfast, and discuss making very personal, innovative storytelling theatre.

Andrew Hunter Murray, a QI question-setter, member of Austentatious, and presenter of the Private Eye podcast, introduces some of the characters from his first solo show at the Fringe; and political advisor turned stand-up comedian Matt Forde tells Janice about rewriting his entire show to keep up with current politics.

And Alice Mary Cooper talks about her one-woman show Waves, telling the story of Australian Elizabeth Moncello, fictional inventor of the butterfly stroke.

Plus music from the Cairn String Quartet, A Case of You: The Music of Joni Mitchell, and Paris-based songwriter Mariama.
