Femi Temowo and the Engines Orchestra

Jazz Now visits the TW12 Festival on the outskirts of London, for a concert from the Hampton Hill Theatre. Soweto Kinch introduces a set by the Nigerian-born UK guitarist and vocalist Femi Temowo, with the Engines Orchestra. Playing music from their new album "The Music is the Feeling", they explore a range of musical genres. Led by saxophonist Phil Meadows, the Engines Orchestra won the 2015 Parliamentary Jazz Award for Best Ensemble, with material that breaks down boundaries between classical, jazz and folk music.
