Science Caf茅 has been 鈥榟ijacked鈥� by students from Wrexham Glyndwr University as they tackle the topic of mental health through a series of short features and interviews.聽

From cognitive behavioural therapy and the latest pharmaceuticals, the world has seen some prolific advances in the way we look at mental health - but is there still a stigma surrounding this issue and what sort of help is available to those suffering from mental illness in this supposedly more enlightened age?

Our three intrepid student reporters ventured off to explore their chosen areas of research and have returned with some fascinating results.

Join Molly Hookings as she asks why there is a growing number of students seeking help in our universities. Molly speaks to Wrexham Glyndwr student, Sophie, about her experience and to Kate Tindle, head counsellor at Bangor University, about her thoughts and advice.聽 Dyfan Morris takes a look at the connection between mental illness and creativity. He asks whether the human race owes its finest examples of art to the suffering of those who created them.聽

Finally, Freyer Howells interviews Dr Joanne Pike,聽Prof Richard Picking and a very unusual guest as she聽tests a聽novel coping聽strategy聽for those suffering from stress and depression.
