Cathy MacDonald presents some of the successful choirs from the Royal National Mod held in Oban, featuring winners and participants from several of the competitions.

Cathy MacDonald offers another opportunity to enjoy some of the successful performers from the choral competitions at the Mod in Oban. The Mod returned to Oban for the 16th time, and the choral competitions were again keenly contested with a high standard of singing for each prize. This programme shows all the choirs who took part in the Lovat and Tullibardine and the Margrat Duncan competitions. The rural choirs are also represented with a selection from each choir who took part in the Lorn Shield and the Sherrif MacMaster Campbell Memorial Quaich. Other winners are also featured, including Back Choir, Melvich Gaelic Choir, Glasgow Islay Gaelic Choir and Lochs Gaelic Choir.
