The Dark Blues' 43-6 triumph in 2014 was the biggest winning margin recorded in the history of the fixture. The Varsity Match has helped launch many players' careers, including the likes of Simon Halliday, Phil de Glanville and Gareth Davies, who all appeared for Oxford and ex-Cambridge duo Rob Andrew and Gavin Hastings.
