Sleaford Mods in session

Tom Robinson has a session and interview with Nottingham duo Sleaford Mods, who recently released their fourth album Key Markets to widespread critical acclaim.

Features a session and interview with Nottingham based duo Sleaford Mods, who recently released their album Key Markets to widespread critical acclaim. Frontman and lyricist Jason Williamson began the project in 2007 and released 4 albums before producer Andrew Fearn joined in 2012, who took on all the musical production. This is the duo's 4th studio album. The lyrics are angular social commentary, and usually feature profanity to reflect how Williamson speaks. His delivery is sprechgesang, an expressionist vocal technique between singing and speaking.

At 11 o'clock Tom launches The After Hour, where he dusts off tracks from the outer reaches of his record collection.
