Highlights from the 2015 Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod featuring the best of the choral and dance competitions, the striking opening parade, highlights of Choir of the World and a specially filmed visit to Nepal that tells the story of a group of young Tibetan dancers in the aftermath of the devastating earthquakes in the region that happened earlier in the year.
Also featuring excerpts from a concert celebrating the music of South America, including a brand new piece for harp and orchestra performed by Catrin Finch and the 麻豆社 National Orchestra of Wales, and composed by Hector Macdonald to mark the 150th anniversary of the Welsh colony being established in Patagonia.
Connie Fisher and Wynne Evans present the programme, with a special contribution from 麻豆社 Wales news and sport presenter Iwan Griffiths, who travelled to film in Nepal.
