Do men think about their biological clocks and the biological clocks of their partners and how much is this part of the conversation between them when it comes to deciding to have children? Jenni talks to Dr Jackson.C Kirkman-Brown, Reader in Human Reproductive Science, Science Lead at Birmingham Women's Fertility Centre about what men need to know about their fertility and biological clocks; and to Professor Sheena Lewis, Professor of Reproductive Medicine at Queen’s University Belfast, about why seeing fertility as a female concern is not only unfair to women but also ignores men who she considers hidden or ignored when it comes to fertility treatment.

In the last of our features series about the lives of working women, Emma Barnett talks to women who work in retail. When the journalist and suffragette Sylvia Pankhurst wrote her ground breaking exploration into working women’s lives in 1907, shop work was largely carried out in small premises with specialist employees. In the last fifty years the rise of the large supermarket chains has changed the life of shop workers and the industry now employs 3.8 million people – 14% of jobs in the UK are in grocery retailing. Jenni is joined by Dr Brendan Burchall, Reader in the Department of Sociology at the University of Cambridge and Fellow of Magdalene College.
