Folk Aduaidh is a new three-part series that examines the untold history of folk music in Ulster alongside the social, political and cultural backdrop of the time.
The first episode follows the story of northern folk music from the time of Edward Bunting in the late 1700s, to the great song collections of the early 20th century by Sam Henry and Énrà Ó Muirgheasa, to the beginning of the civil rights movement in the 1960s.
