James Fenton first published The Hamely Tongue in 1995, and twenty years later sees the fourth edition of his unique dictionary which records the Ulster Scots words he collected over years of research and study throughout Co Antrim. To mark the new edition of this important book, in an exclusive interview for Kist, Liam Logan talks to Jim Fenton about his work on The Hamely Tongue, the people and places of north Antrim, and about his poetry, and Jim reads some of his favourite poems.
