Jane will be in a glass box at Southbank Centre's WOW - Women of the World Festival. Annie Lennox will join us, we look at 'My body back' - a campaign about sex after abuse and talk to a journalist highlighting women's issues under the threat of Ebola in Sierra Leone. We will be hearing from Gemma Cairney about the perspectives of girls in the UK, and performance artist Bobby Baker joins me to talk about a grandmother's view. There's live music from Ibibio sound machine, and we'll be finding out how to get a pay rise.

Eno Williams fronts , a band which effortlessly combines 70s funk / disco sounds with lyrics in the Nigerian Ibibio language inspired by stories which Eno inherited from her mother.听 The result is an upbeat new sound.听 They鈥檒l join us to play live.

Radio 1鈥檚 was sent by WOW around the country to record the thoughts of young girls about their concerns, dreams and aspirations.听 She joins us to tell us what they had to say.
Bobby Baker
Bobby Baker has been making art work for over 40 years, from performance art to installations with names such as 鈥楢n Edible family in a Mobile Home鈥, 鈥楶ull Yourself Together鈥 鈥楬ow to shop鈥, 鈥楬ow to live鈥 and 鈥.听 She takes her inspiration from her own experience and domesticity.听 She is at the WOW festival as a grandmother with an update on her show 鈥 and she joins Jane to tell her about it.

Reclaiming Sex and Physicality After Sexual Violence
After rape or sexual abuse the focus is often on emotional support.听 But what about addressing the physical impact of assault on the body? 听How do victims manage to reclaim their bodies from being what one survivor described as a 鈥渃rime scene鈥 into being a personal space that is capable of sexual intimacy and pleasure?听 We are joined by psychologist Dr Nina Burrows and survivor of abuse Pavan Amara who will tell us about her 鈥My Body Back鈥 project.听

Despite the equal pay act from 1970, women are still paid less than men, taking home 85 pence for every pound that men do.听 One way of applying pressure on employers is to simply ask for a pay rise.听 Stevie Spring is leading a session at WOW entitled 鈥楶lease sir, can I have some more?鈥
