Gentle Spenceley left New Zealand for the UK when she was just six months old and is now desperate to return to the country she calls home. After a honeymoon down under failed to convince husband Phil to make the move, the arrival of the couple's first child has seen the subject raised again - and it's a topic Phil feels will never go away.

He's not only concerned about the uncertainties of life on the other side of the world but also worries about leaving his parents behind in the UK. A trial week in Auckland is Gentle's best shot at persuading him to make New Zealand their family's home, so will the country work its magic and see Phil overcome his fears?

Phil, Gentle and Harrison moved to New Zealand in October 2014 and have just enjoyed their second Christmas down under!听 Phil is working remotely for the same company he was employed by in the UK and Gentle works part time in a vets surgery just ten minutes from home.听 Harrison is happily settled at pre-school.

The couple purchased a property soon after arriving but are currently planning to build their own home on a plot of land just 5 minutes from the beach.听 They've enjoyed visits from both sets of parents and are听looking forward to a trip back to the UK in May 2016 for the wedding of Gentle's brother.
