But are the choices offered and the language used by medical people appropriate? Radha speaks to the hearing parents of deaf children as well as Nick and Lilli, two deaf parents who have set up a support group for deaf parents of deaf children.

Plus, we meet Chris and Queesra King, a deaf couple who have taken the plunge and opened a fashionable clothes shop in the north west of England.
