Port reveals their shared musical heritage and we hear from their musical friends living in the city. Julie and Muireann investigate the music and culture associated with particular cities and areas in Scotland and in Ireland. In each episode, their quest is shared with two guest musicians.
Accompanying Muireann from Ireland are renowned singer Eilis Kennedy and one of the best concertina players around, Edel Fox. They discover that Glasgow is brimful of talent and the foursome meet Karen Matheson, Linda MacLeod, Ceitlin LR Smith and concertina wizard, Simon Thoumire.
