Chef Yotam Ottolenghi offers inspiration for vegetarian cooking, plus cook Sue Lawrence makes a red pepper and pear soup, perfect for early autumn.

He offers inspiration and ideas for working with a range of fresh ingredients to create simple vegetarian recipes you can try at home.
Do you enjoy the occasional meat-free dish without wanting to commit to being a full-time vegetarian? Perhaps you eat less meat than you used to but are lacking in vegetarian ideas? Cook Mary Contini and Andy Cumming, chef and lecturer suggest how we can broaden our horizons with vegetables to create dishes in which the vegetables take centre stage but which aren't necessarily labelled as vegetarian.
Cook and food writer Sue Lawrence shows Gillian Russell how to make red pepper and pear soup, perfect for that transition into early autumn.
How do chefs and cooks come up with new foodie ideas? Where do you get your culinary inspiration from? Clare and The Kitchen Cafe team try to discover where chefs get their flavour combinations from, how recipe ideas are created and whether we can all "learn" to be more inspired and creative in the kitchen?
