Tom Robinson invites 6 Music listeners to create a Who-inspired playlist, marking the band's 50th anniversary.
This week The Who unveiled their brand new single 'Be Lucky' - their first new material in eight years - to mark the band reaching its half century this year. All royalties from the single will be donated to Teen Cancer, the charity set up by Roger Daltry and Pete Townshend in 2011.
It's ahead of their anniversary tour which kicks off in November, the same month as the release of their forthcoming 'Who Hits 50' career-spanning compilation, featuring their very first recordings as The High Numbers right up through to present day.
Listeners are invited to create an unmissable playlist themed around these rock'n'roll icons - whether classic tracks and rarities by band itself, music from their 60s peers, acts they've influenced, collaborations or any other interesting musical connection.
Suggestions are invited by Twitter via #TheWho6Music, posting on the show blog or the 6 Music or Now Playing Facebook pages, dragging tracks onto the show's collaborative Spotify or Rdio playlists, or the other usual live show contact methods.
