Chef Lydie Bocquillon demonstrates cooking with brambles. Plus how to create a scented lawn, growing winter vegetables and using manures effectively in the garden.
Chef Lydie Bocquillon cooks live outside in the grounds of the 麻豆社 in Inverness with Pennie Latin and the team. This week Lydie is making a bramble omelette and a potato veloute with mint.
Pennie speaks to gardening expert Nicola Singleton and local nursery owner Natalie Kirkby about how to create a scented lawn and which plants would be best suited to it.
Gardening expert Frances Pringle and allotment plot holder Richard Crawford suggest which manures work best for which job in the garden.
If you've got a glut of produce in your garden and fancy trying your hand making some alcoholic drinks with it then why not let Frances, Richard and Lydie inspire you to give it a go?!.
And as autumn approaches, now is the time to start preparing for and planting winter veg. Frances and Richard have advice and suggestions for how best to go about it.
