Phill Jupitus sits in
Phill Jupitus sits in for Janice Forsyth and speaks to Adam Duritz from Counting Crows, plus he learns about the 16th-century equivalent of a rap battle.
Drummer Woody Woodmansay, a long-time member of David Bowie's band, has reunited with bass player Tony Visconti to perform together for the first time since 1971. They're joined by Steve Norman, formerly of Spandau Ballet, to form supergroup Holy Holy, touring and playing the songs of David Bowie. Phill speaks to Woody and Steve about the experience.
Adam Duritz from Counting Crows talks about their seventh album, turning 50, and 23 years in music.
As crime writers gather in Stirling for the Bloody Scotland writing festival, novelist Catriona McPherson explains how to plot the perfect crime.
Phill gets a preview of the Stirling Fringe festival, including an introduction to Flyting - a 16th century poetry battle that may have been the invention of rap.
And literary biographer Richard Bradford talks about his favourite examples of rivalries between great authors.
