Paul Martin is joined by experts Michael Baggot and Caroline Hawley. Together the team pick out a selection of interesting antiques and collectables to be sold at the local auction house. Silver buff Michael is thrilled by finding a very large silver bowl decorated with a dragon motif and Caroline is amused by an early tin plate toy.
Paul delves into the history of beer as it would have been brewed in medieval times at Haddon Hall, making the most of the opportunity by sampling a couple of brews.
