Episode 8

Derek MacKay and co-host Calum MacDonald present entertainment, craic and great music. In this show, guests include singer and TV presenter, Fiona Dunn.

This week, Derek MacKay and co-host Coinneach Smith welcome special guests and teams of regulars to the pub.

Fiona Dunn, Glasgow University's first Gaelic Officer and winner of one of the inaugural Scottish Gaelic Awards, will chat to Derek about her work with students, and how her own love of the language developed through singing.

The Sea Atlas will perform two of their songs, including 'Travelling Kind', and singer songwriter duo Annabella Seeth & Neosa MacKinnon sing their own composition, 'Lucy'. Three teams of pub punters will take part in the Gun Sgot quiz and compete for this week's trophy. Captains Ricky Hannaway, Keiran MacInnes and Mick MacNeill will lead their teams through several rounds of questions and challenges which will test their knowledge of many things, including alcohol. They will pit their wits against Fiona Dunn and decide which one of her stories is true, and sample a cocktail made by resident mixologist, Mairead Hamilton.
