The Sonics

Marc has a live session from The Sonics, who were formed in Tacoma, Washington in 1964 before punk and garage were even thought of.

The Sonics in session tonight - yep you heard correct - formed in Tacoma, Washington in 1964 before Punk and Garage were even thought of - they're the daddies of these genres.

The band's debut album "Here Are The Sonics" was released in 1965 to rave revues but after the 3rd album they parted ways in the late 60's.

Thank goodness they were perusaded to reform in 2007 - and the rest as they say is history.
