In his latest show for 6 Music, Ben picks some of his favourite tracks of the year so far and plays some music which has influenced his new solo works; the first in over 30 years.
Aside from Ben's hugely successful paths with projects such as Everything But The Girl and Buzzin' Fly Records, Ben is also a published writer. His second book, Romany and Tom, arrived in February this year.
In this show, Ben explores the music from his DJ travels, through down-tempo and deep house music, via upfront leftfield electronic pop interspersed with a few classics from his personal collection.
