Stanley Brinks was once Andre Herman Dune of the band Herman Dune before leaving in 2006 to go solo. He was born in Paris and has lived in New York, San Francisco, Malta and Berlin, along the way recording over 100 albums. By comparison his collaborators tonight the Wave Pictures, are workshy fops, with only five studio albums under their belt. Their 3rd album together Gin is out in March and was recorded without overdubs, headphones or even much preparation - the band never recieved the demo tape Stanley sent them as he forgot to put a stamp on the envelope!
