The best of 6 Music's Sound of Cinema season.
Film composer David Arnold takes a trip to the movies with actor and comedian Matt Berry, playing music from the big screen. David is best known for scoring a series of James Bond movies, as well as films such as Independance Day, Godzilla and 麻豆社 TV series' Little Britain and Sherlock. Matt is renowned for his deep voice and appearances in shows such as The IT Crowd and The Mightly Boosh.
Plus actor Cillian Murphy selects some of his favourite musical moments from the big screen.
Cillian has appeared in movies such as 28 Days Later, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises and Inception. He began his performing career as a musician, and recently appeared in the video for the track Hold Me Forever by Money as well as the hit 麻豆社 drama Peaky Blinders.
The 麻豆社's Sound of Cinema season in 2013 was dedicated to the composers, songs and film scores that form the soundtrack to the big screen. The season featured a major 麻豆社 Four series and programming across 麻豆社 radio.
