Keith Floyd visits Austin in Texas. He visits a ranch where he cooks steak with a hot sauce and makes margaritas. He sees a local country and western group playing in Austin, and goes to the Big Wheel restaurant where breakfast is prepared for the truckers. He also visits a BBQ restaurant/takeaway in Lockhart, and a Mexican restaurant, as well as cooking chicken fajitas and mexican beef.
