Episode 4
Documentary series. Neighbourhood officers in Hull face a game of cat and mouse as they try their best to keep horse and cart enthusiasts from drinking too much.
The annual horse fair in Hull attracts hundreds of people from the travelling community as well as other local horse lovers; unfortunately it is not an officially organised event. And, after widespread trouble last year, the police have decided to outlaw it by taking out an injunction aimed at stopping the horses, carts and riders from congregating anywhere in Hull.
What the police have not bargained for is the ingenuity of the participants; to get around the ban, they have moved the fair to the streets just outside of the city limits. What follows is a game of cat and mouse as neighbourhood officers try their best to keep the horse and cart enthusiasts from drinking too much and causing a danger on the roads.
Meanwhile, a man is caught 'tatting', or stealing from a skip. Frighteningly, for the two PCSOs chasing him, the man pulls out an unprotected syringe and threatens them with it.
