Ken Bruce presents a chance to hear the Beatles as 麻豆社 audiences would have originally encountered them.
This programme features extracts from 鈥楶op Go The Beatles鈥� [July - September 1963], 鈥楶ublic Ear鈥� [November 1963], 鈥楩rom Us To You鈥� [March 1964鈥� 鈥楾he Alan Freeman Show鈥� [July 1964], and 鈥楽aturday Club鈥� [November 1964] to create a revealing portrait of how British audiences would have originally heard The Beatles, the way they presented themselves and the impressions that they left.
In addition to songs recorded in 麻豆社 studios, the programme also contains interviews with the Fab Four and a glimpse behind the scenes as they attempt to record 鈥業 Feel Fine鈥� for a 鈥楽aturday Club鈥� session.
Broadcast on 4 Extra to mark the 60th anniversary of the Beatles first universal chart number 1, From Me To You, in May 1963.
