The government says 1775 job losses in the UK shipbuilding industry are 'regrettable' but 'inevitable'.
BAE Systems has confirmed that it's cutting around 18 hundreds jobs across the UK. Almost a thousand posts are going in Portsmouth, where the construction of warships will end.
