Jamie XX, Goldie and Derrick May join Erol Alkan, Andrew Weatherall and Groove Armada as the new Residents of the 6 Mix

Goldie, Derrick May, Erol Alkan, Groove Armada, Andrew Weatherall and Jamie xx go back to back for two hours.

6 Mix are delighted to announce a new line-up of Residents who will present shows regularly on 6 Music.
Goldie, Derrick May and Jamie xx join Erol Alkan, Groove Armada and Andrew Weatherall, and in this week's show all go back-to-back to showcase what you can expect from their individual shows.

Each represent a different corner of the dance music spectrum and have credentials to call upon which are second to none. With the latest batch of residents we have Goldie who has been at the forefront of the Drum & Bass scene since the 1990s with Metalheadz to Derrick May who's one of the founding fathers of Detroit Techno, and Jamie xx who's had Mercury success with his band's debut album and is one of the most talked about electronic music producers online across the globe.

Already familiar to regular listeners of the 6 Mix are Erol Alkan, Groove Armada and Andrew Weatherall who serve up something different every time they come on air and hold respect from anyone who's anyone in the electronic music industry.
