Tamoxifen

New research shows that women who give up taking the breast cancer drug Tamoxifen are at increased risk of听 dying from the disease and that many are giving up because of the side effects which include hot flushes, sweating, tiredness and weight gain.听 Jenni speaks to Baroness Delyth Morgan Chief Executive of which commissioned the research and听Dr. Adrienne Morgan who has experienced severe life-limiting side-effects after being prescribed with Tamoxifen.

Child Poverty

According to a report published a few days ago there are now more than three and a half million children living in poverty in the UK, one and a half million more than nearly fifty years ago.Jenni is joined by Children鈥檚 Commissioner, Maggie Atkinson and Enver Solomon, Director of Evidence and Impact for the NCB who led the research, to look at the current circumstances and why evidence suggests the situation is going to get even worse.
