Donald's heart murmur is assessed. Two weeks past her due day Nairn mum Lynsey's labour is induced. Alex settles into routine at home in Keiss and there is a new baby in Kilchoan.

Premature baby Donald is at a Cardiology appointment where a consultant assesses his heart murmur. One hundred and twenty miles away another premature baby, Alex, is now home with his family in Keiss, just north of Wick. Older brother Ben reveals how worried he was at the time, with mum to-ing and fro-ing to be with Alex in Raigmore Hospital in Inverness as often as she could. Nairn Mum Lynsey is two weeks past her due day and has come to have her labour induced, but all does not go to plan. Meanwhile Katie and Graeme are home in Kilchoan in Ardnamurchan with their first baby and Fiona Bowie begins the final year of her midwifery training on placement in Labour Suite in Raigmore Hospital.
