Episode 2
Rescue footage and real-life drama over the course of a busy summer feature in this second programme of the two-part series following RAF Search and Rescue crews.
Thrilling rescue footage and real-life drama feature in this second programme of the two-part series following RAF Search and Rescue crews. The series has exclusive access to the working life of on-duty personnel, including Prince William - HRH the Duke of Cambridge, or Flight Lieutenant Wales as he is known in the RAF.
The programme features a busy summer of rescues: Sgt Martin Seward and co-pilot Flt Lt Wales head for the busy Anglesey coastline, where a woman is injured on a cliff edge; and winchman Nick Jones deals with a serious road traffic accident in Devon on his first-ever shift. And with the Sea King about to leave UK skies in 2016, one pilot prepares to bid farewell to RAF Valley, while the crews pay their tributes to the iconic yellow Sea King helicopter.
