Pete Roe

Marc has a session from Pete Roe, whose day job is playing in Laura Marling's band.

Pete Roe in session - you know him - his day job is playing in Laura Marling's band. Taking centre stage now he's released his own debut album Our Beloved Bubble.

The album's final touches came from acclaimed producer Ethan Johns.

He is a fully paid up member of the London Folk Scene. It's said his guitar style owes a lot to British folk guitarists of the 1960s such as Bert Jansch and John Martyn, his songwriting more to American songwriters such as Paul Simon, Neil Young and indeed Ryan Adams whom he cites as an influence and now a fan.

Pete came in and played with the band Hot Feet at the beginning of the year and that was amazing so it's all good stuff - make no mistake.
