Episode 4
Series profiling the work of Wales's RAF Search and Rescue crews. This final edition follows the crews as they undertake dramatic rescues around the country.
The final episode in this series of Helicopter Rescue reveals the most dramatic rescue footage yet, as the RAF Search and Rescue crews patrolling Wales tackle the challenges of Snowdonia. In making the series, the programme team had exclusive access to the working life of the crews, including Prince William - HRH the Duke of Cambridge, or Flight Lieutenant Wales as he's known in the RAF.
This week the RAF Valley crew tackle dramatic rescues at Caernarfon Castle and the slopes of Crib Goch near the summit of Snowdon, and they brave a snow blizzard to help four stranded students on the perilous ridges of Tryfan. The crew members, including Flt Lt Wales, bid farewell to experienced pilot Dave Prochera-Best, who's leaving to fly with the Royal Canadian Search and Rescue Force, and there are tributes too for the yellow Sea King helicopter, as it nears the end of its service in 2016.
