Thrilling rescue footage and real-life drama features in the series following the working lives of RAF Search and Rescue crews patrolling Wales. In this programme we get a taste of a summer of dramatic rescues around the country. The programme had exclusive access to the working life of the crews, including Prince William - HRH the Duke of Cambridge, or Flight Lieutenant Wales as he's known in the RAF. Winchman Dickie Myers and his crew race to the rescue of a diver with 'the bends' in the Nantlle Valley, Sergeant Martin Seaward and co-pilot Flt Lt Wales head for the busy Anglesey coastline where a woman is injured on a cliff edge, and in an emotional reunion at RAF Valley, a young girl meets her rescuers a year after her horrific car crash in Llandrindod Wells.
