Lulu James is live in session and Lauren plays out the week's People's Playlist, which offers up half an hour of brilliant tunes chosen by listeners.
Lulu James is a 21 year old singer from South Tyneside who self-released her debut EP Rope Mirage last spring. Lulu has been writting and recording with The Invisible's Dave Okumu for her debut full length album, due to come out this summer. She also works with writer and collaborator 'Domzilla' who was her tutor on a local music course where they first began fusing classic soul with electronica. Lulu has just supported Jessie Ware and Laura Mvula.
Plus this week's Peoples Playlist offers up half an hour of brilliant tunes chosen by you on a given theme, free music in MPFree and take some time out to enjoy a gorgeous tune in The Headphone Moment.
