Steve is joined by Gavin and Stacey writer Ruth Jones as part of 麻豆社 6 Music's celebration of comedy.

As 麻豆社 Radio 6 Music celebrates comedy through the month of March, Steve is looking at the art of writing for radio. Monday sees Lammo joined by Gavin and Stacey writer Ruth Jones.

Ruth chats with Lammo about writing and plot devices and about her new show 'Stella'. The new comedy follows Stella through her life in the town of Pontyberry in the South Wales Valleys. Stella is a working mum who earns a living doing the locals' washing and ironing. Most of the time, she's relatively happy with life as she handles the ups and downs of her family amid the chaos of her eccentric friends, relatives and kids' fathers. Her brood consists of eldest son Luke, who is in prison; beautiful 16-year-old Emma who is smitten with her first love Sunil; and the brains of the family, 12-year-old Ben.
