One of the jazz world's most successful - and enduring writers Bill Holman's work gained its first exposure when he joined Stan Kenton's saxophone section in 1951. Since then he has gone on to write for a list of artists that reads like a who's who of popular music. These include Woody Herman, Charlie Barnet, Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, Michael Buble and the 5th Dimension.

Tonight's session includes Bill's memorable reinventions of standards including Out of Nowhere, After You've Gone and Isn't She Lovely.
